Located in the center of Chester County, PA, West Whiteland Township provides high quality, cost-effective local government services that prioritize safety, economic development and sustainability.
West Whiteland Township was interested in developing a new logo to use on their website, printed materials, social media, and other communications. The Township has not consistently utilized a designated logo in the past and was looking for a warm graphic that both residents and businesses could relate to, and would incorporate the Township’s values, goals, and character.
Their logo included the concept of a “crossroads,” which represented the four different themes that were determined as the four primary areas of focus in their strategic plans. We also created custom icons that utilize actual landmarks throughout the Township. Although the logo requires that it be used in larger scales, they were extremely pleased with the ability to take actual photos, simplify them to create the imagery, and yet still maintain the detail that makes each of these important landmarks unique to West Whiteland Township.
They were extremely pleased with how we represented so many important qualities, some more obvious and subtle. We have since designed various print media, provided consulting services for their new website, and we design and produce their township newsletter (which also includes printing and mailing services by The Homer Group).
